Alpha Psi Omega is very different than the other Greek Life facilities at BGSU. We are more of an honors society where our primary goal is to provide professional development opportunities for those planning on pursing theater in their future.
That's okay! Be sure to sign up for the email list for the Department of Theater, Film, and Dance so you don't miss out on any events! You can go to the main office located on the second floor of the Wolfe Center and ask to be put on the list.
Because being initiated into APO takes time and participation in the department, it's not a possibility to join until your sophomore year. However, all are welcome at meetings and you can begin keeping track of points your freshmen year.
APO is an honors society that strives to provide professional development for its members. But more importantly, we want to create a fun, positive, and safe community for everyone. We do not tolerate hazing of any kind. If you ever feel unsafe, do not hesitate to reach out to one of the officers or our faculty advisor.
